@LIVE PLOG - Insert Waypoint Before - Find Waypoint Box - Entry is in black letters on black background.

@LIVE PLOG - Inserting & removing Waypoints occationally leads to CTD without warning.

1

It seems the Nearby part of the Radio/PLOG does not work as described in the documentation (the one for older versions).

When navigating from Airport A to Airport Z, by flying over Airports C, D, E, ... the PLOG only shows Airport A until the distance is > 30 Nm. Airports C, D, E, ... never appear in the Nearby list or in the Radio summary. Only the destination airfield appears and the end of the flight, when distance < 30 Nm.

I was expecting every nearby airfield to be listed (in both Radio page and PLOG). Am I wrong?

2

Keeping the radio page opened leads to a screen time out.

I'm not seeing the black letters on black background problem. Anyone else? Also I haven't been able to reproduce the CTD you talk about when inserting and removing waypoints. Can you either find steps which always cause it to happen, or give us the crash log?

The radio page will eventually be removed because the Live PLOG is the place to get that information now.

Regarding inclusion of airfields, the criteria is airfields within 30nm but your height is also taken account of. If you can give me a quick example of where you think it's wrong, that will give me something to do on. It doesn't matter what your route is, but just put the aircraft in a specific position (which you can give me) and tell me the airport whose frequencies you think should be included when you're at that position.

I prefer the more "direct" access the radio page allows. Switching from radio to map through the PLOG uses more resources, as you need to scroll to/identify the radio part of the PLOG. When looking at radio 2 times in a row (yes, I sometimes forget what I've just read!), it's far from being straightforward.

What's more, when flying locally (using the "fly within xx Nm" or not), no route is created, and no PLOG is available (SD says "you need to create a route, first"). Do not forget to allow the access to a (limited) PLOG in such a situation if it remains the only place to access frequencies.

Regarding inclusion of airfields, the criteria is airfields within 30nm but your height is also taken account of.

Thanks! I'll make more intensive testing before giving you more feedback,

A little bug (I think)
- Create a route
- Launch the simulator
- Quit Skydemon (without stopping the navigation, just using the "back" system menu)
- Start SD again
=> The navigation is resumed (which is normal)
=> The Distance and Time blocks, which are normally visible only when planning a route, appear under the Skydemon orb.

This looks like another manifestation of the bug reported here : http://forums.skydemon.aero/Topic13673.aspx

Tim

Place the yellow bird just overhead LFGC. heading north. Push the radio button & decide what should be in there. You are surrounded  by class D airspaces ( EDTL/EDSB) but except the LFST one to the left, all the rest of 'em are missing, Even the strip you are overhead of (LFGC) is not on the list, let alone all the small airfields within ~10-15nm e.g. EDSK/LFSH/EDTO/EDTB
